I stopped at the local thrift store today and saw an upright vacuum cleaner that I have never heard of before (always learning I guess!) It said Princess down the front of it's grey plastic front. They use a little crown to dot the I in Princess, so I'm guessing that it is an upright from Filter Queen.

It does say made in Germany, and the manufacture code of 8/91. Are Filter Queen's made in Germany? Or is this some other make.

Very quiet, and luckily I had Samsung upright bags that fit great.

Filter Queens and Princess canisters were both made in the U.S.A by Health-Mor industries, first in Chicago, then Cleveland (correct me if I'm wrong, not 100% sure on that). Filter Queens were sold door to door and Princess were sold in vacuum stores.

The upright you have was made for Health-Mor to complement the canister, but it was pretty short lived. I don't know which company in Germany made it for them however.
