Dear brothers and sisters of Vacuumland,
My name is David Brown. I live in Oregon. My Hoover U5231-930 has lost suction. The store that usually repairs my vacuum (Stark's Vacuums) claims that the motor is fine, but the fan is worn out. According to them, the fan's blades still spin, but the blades are so beat up that they cannot create suction. That is their diagnosis.
They also say that parts (including the fan) for my Hoover U5231-930 are no longer available. However, they said that *if* I can find a newish (or new) fan for that model, that they will install it.
Therefore, if I may please ask, is anyone in this forum willing to sell me a new (or newish) fan for my Hoover U5231-930? I would prefer an actual fan from that actual model, and not an aftermarket option, please.
Thank you very much for reading this.
