I felt like a post-mortem photographer when I was photographing the 505, the spring is broken so I had to prop the handle up with an Electrolux wand behind the bag. I'll fix that one of these days...
Regarding the Electrolux, I knew it was an early one, but didn't realize it was that uncommon of a model. I found it at an estate sale for $10, but it was the last day so I got it for $5. It came in a big apple box with each piece wrapped up in an old piece of 1960s newspaper. It looks like they didn't use it much, the inside is spotless. I knew the nozzle with the brush wasn't Electrolux but it came with it, so I kept it as part of its history. It was complete with everything pictured, minus the cord which is the correct Belden cord I found elsewhere. Definitely a keeper![this post was last edited: 8/6/2015-13:20]
