120????

Damn thats alotta auction for that little bag to handle.

PN has the revised brush roll, way better than the original brush design.

Thanks for posting!! A lot of suction. What's the airflow like?? I wonder what parts availability will be like.

I ordered it from Essco, I have an account with them for my vacuum sales and service business. It is basically an exact duplicate of an Electrolux. I don't have a cfm meter or guage, but the airflow seems excellent.

Do you know what is being used for a motor?? One or two stage, conical shaped fans or not, lamb etc??

Hi Vernon,

Looking at the specs it says it has a Ametek Advantek Motor. Being that everything else is a dead ringer for the lux, I would guess the fans are as well. Peeking thru the intake at the rear of the bag chamber, the nut looks just like on my siverado deluxe. I also had one of these apart in the rear, took the cord winder out and the motor cover, shroud, looked like a dead copy as well, so I would say the fans are the same as in the lux.

So far my impression is that this is basically a brand new replica of the lux with more power, and better bags.

Parts and Service:

If Perfect takes off, I think it could be a very good thing for vintage Lux owners. If parts are as interchangeable as they appear to be, Perfect parts might be the answer to the problems Lux owners run into on certain things. For instance, a broken sled (a.k.a. caster guard), which is the plastic piece at the bottom front, surrounding the front swivel caster, is currently irreplaceable from Aerus. One from Perfect looks like it should work perfectly (groooooan!) well.

Supposedly IMIG (the makers of this clone) and Electrolux Home Care Products (not Aerus) had a court battle over some Sanitaire models.

That's a very handsome vac, and sounds like their customer service is accomodating with a replacement the next day. Keep us posted on the performance and how you like it.

I now got the scoop. Electrolux when they patented there silverado they didnt have a lifetime patent on it. One of electroluxs engineers left after finiding out how they changed there machines to all plastic and sorta junk. He then later found that the patent was up this year. So he started his own company and now made the PERFECT. It sorta reminds me of the Bison story. Well I got PSSA today. Everybody wish me luck!
