I have some doubts about the dusting brush and bare floor brush labelled 003. I really don't think they are Eurekas. Firstly, those bristles look like an attempt at horse hair bristles, which Eureka never used on grey tools from the 1950's. Eureka's grey tools in the 1950's had black synthetic bristles. Secondly, the only grey floor brush I have ever seen from Eureka was for the Roto-Matic tank vacs of the 1950's, and the floor brush in those days looked very different....it also had a permanently attached metal neck.
Something tells me these are for a grey GE portable hand vac from the 1960's. These GE vacs had a floor brush that was strangely similar to those sold by Eureka in that decade, but the GE's had a grey neck integrated into the brush. The 003 floor brush looks like one of these but it's missing the neck.
Also, Eureka floor brushes in the 1960's had a cut out in the front to let in dirt - this one does not.
Therefore: my guess is they are both for the GE portable handvac that came with a hose, tools and cardboard caddy. Circa 1964.
