Nothing too special except i have never seen this color before. It has the old, "Jet-Flo" body style but the color of the machine after they updated it.
I found this on Craig's, in Reading PA, if you live in the area.

I have that exact model and I love it. It's a little powerhouse and sucks up virtually anything in its path.

This brochure scan, from the VL archives (see link, thanks Collector2), has my mind reeling.

My 2 Panasonics

I have a Jet-Flo MC-6220, and a Jet-Flo MC-6337. The latter doesn't get used much because it has a really bad brushroll problem.

Thanks for posting that nice Panasonic brochure, Robert. I have never seen a Jet-Flo, but I did pass up a Panasonic 7 amp like your blue one, at a thrift. I love that MC-6100 model there in the catalog.

I have two of those Powermates(made by Panasonic) and rebadged for Sears. As I have played around with vacs more, these past couple years, I tend to like the uprights a little more. If I had the big house we used to roam around in, the canisters are easier to navigate and use.

I have a rebadged Panasonic from the 1960's - it was sold under the Viking name for the T Eaton Co.

The white MC-6100 above was sold as the Eureka Emperor, and also the Montgomery Ward Signature brand. I was told you don't see many of them around because of motor issues and weren't manufactured too long. I'm fortunate to have the Emperor in working condition that matches my first edition straight suction Empress. I don't know if the Emperor was manufactured by Eureka in Bloomington using the Panasonic motors, or if just a rebadge direct from Panasonic. I believe the latter, but that must've been the only Eureka/Panasonic connection that I'm aware of. Maybe someone else can enlighten us.

Yes, I like that vintage also. I don't have one. A friend has a blue Kenmore 90's Whispertone and will not part with it. Can't say I blame him.
I restored his inherited Rainbow chrome dome but he never uses it. It has no power nozzle.
I first heard of Panasonic vacuums in 1984. I thought they would be small under powered units for small apartments. Then I thought, well Ryobi must have paid to use the name by permission to make them along with Kenmore's. Not so, Matsushita Panasonic bought the Ryobi plant.
I think I saw a vintage 80's Panasonic canister being used in the movie "The wedding banquet" At about the 2/3 point into the film. Has anyone else?
