Hey Gang. I got this today at my local goodwill for $24.99. Took it apart and cleaned it. Works great. All attachments from what I know. Cord winder works great. The smart handle feature is interesting. Only grip i have is that the cord is short but what can you expect with a cord winder.

Clever looking machine. Have always liked the Pana uprights, my old one just keeps going, though hard for me to push now!Damn.

I'm guessing that's a V7341. Not quite TOL. There was a V7398 (and a few others) that would have a variable speed selector, in addition to the dirt sensor/ lights. Some of the better models had a metal agitator with needle bearing end caps and a bottom cover with a metal plate.

Yes, these are nice machines. I have the MC V-7398 which does not have variable speed selector but does have the dirt finder feature. It has the three position power switch, one a finger switch where you can easily turn it on/off with a finger, the third position locks it on. Is that what is called the Smart Handle? My V-7398 doesn't have a metal agitator nor a metal bottom plate. I haven't had it long but already I'm quite fond of it.

Vance, just to correct you on one point there....this particular series of Panasonic NEVER had a metal brushroll or metal bottom plate, as this was one of Panasonic's "retail" lines, meaning they were sold in retail shops as well as vac shops. The only Panasonic line that has EVER had a metal bottom plate & metal brushroll is the Performance Plus line, which is exclusive to vac shops. They save the metal bottom plate & brushroll for vac shops so they have a feature that makes their models superior in the consumer's eyes, & also so the vac shop can justify the higher price for their models.

I know what you're saying about the Vac Shop thing, and I'm pretty sure I've seen a 7300 with metal underneath, and it was indeed a black Performance Plus.

Panasonic made ALOT of different 7300's. We sold them new, the burnt-orange model, one of the last of the series. There was a good markup on those.
