I bought my MC-V5210 back in July of 2015 and have used it for my part time jobs i've had for extra money. I cleaned a grain & feed company and one of our big heating and air company buildings, then I did a call center for a while but it was a total dump and I quit that place, and then a year ago I started cleaning a bank 2 hours a night, 6 nights a week.
It has held up very well, the only thing I've had to do is replace the brush strips, and I need to replace the brushroll upper housing because the front wheels have worn sideways into the housing somehow. Aside from it being a little cosmetically flawed now, nothing is broken or otherwise worn too much. The cord has started to develop that twisting of the wires inside from lots of use which is normal. Winter time is torture for it, I have to replace the bag about twice a week when the salt is put down really heavy in the parking lot, it all gets tracked in on the carpet, and takes me about an hour to vacuum. Otherwise it takes about 45 minutes a night, so it gets a lot of use.
I need to buy another set of brush strips, and some carbon brushes for it just to have on hand before they go extinct. There is no bearing noise or anything from the motor and the bearings in the brushroll are as smooth as when it was new. Here are a few videos I have on it, the most recent one is at the bottom of the list.
I'm sad that Panasonic ditched vacuums, they were really decent machines, but this world is going to pot so it's not a surprise.
