I saw this at my local goodwill the other day. Seems to be a pretty unique machine so I thought I better bring it home. Seems to be a fairly low use example. The belts are worn, so it didn’t clean very well, will have to get creative to change them.

Just thought I’d share this interesting vacuum.

Interesting!

I kinda like the design. Interesting they have 2 small brush-rolls. How does it clean? Does it agitate well?
Nice find

I have never seen this Panasonic model! That’s unique! The closest thing I can remember was a silver Panasonic Dual Sweep with a two short suction hoses leading to each side of the brush roll housing - looked like a Martian or a deep sea diver’s helmet! But it also had two brush rolls. Would love to see more pictures of this oddity…

There were quite a bit different models of this variant especially the yellow MC-V7572 bagless version. Panasonic at the time really tried to get serious into the vacuum market especially being competitive to other brands and models like the Hoover Windtunnel V2/Savvy so they could get more vacuum dealers or department stores to carry Panasonic vacuums besides some of the other products they've already done so well in sales. Never really got that far unfortunately so they took a step back and focus on the vacuums that dealers and Sears already liked. My old vacuum store who was a long time Panasonic dealer carried some of them and while they weren't my most favorite Panasonics, I do like them. My favorite one would be the grey MC-V7505. I'd personally take one over any direct drive model that was so problematic for Panasonic and even over a V2/Savvy that was one of the Hoovers that lead the downfall for Maytag. But the only dual suction machines I'd take over these are the Kenmore/Singer Twin Fans.
