Run for your lives !!! Attack of the Red Minnows!

I shudder to remember from about 1968/69 that while in Detroit on a Highschool Band trip, I proudly bought myself a pair of cotton twill canvas wide-bellbottom jeans with a vivid eye-boggling printed pattern of large paisley swirls in avocado green, blue and orange, not too much different than the garish Challenger. LOL Not knowing any better I was so 'stylish' wearing these monstrosities to school every day paired with an equally startling paisley print shirt i begged Mom to buy me, whether it matched or not, most frequently NOT.
I no longer have the jeans but I do have this one vintage shirt in green, rust red and yellow, and a few others...a quality button-down collar shirt by 'Club Room', the chest pocket patch is pattern matched!

Golly, I should turn it into a short sleeve shirt and make a useful second chest pocket from somewhere in the cut-off sleeves - then I would actually wear it more often. :-)

Dave -

I think I had a blue Challenger at one time...

Nice back shot, looks painful. I hope you recover...

About the shirt: In my hippie years (late 60s), I had a great whimsical shirt that mimicked a boy's pajama top. Cowboys and Indians and spaceships and trains all over it. Bright colors on a yellow background. When the shirt finally disintegrated after 3 years of constant use and washing, I was inconsolable.

Now when I have something like that that is about to "die", I take pictures of it so I can remember it....Great shirt!!
