About a week ago Ken decided to go out shopping with his sister and they went to a local thrift store. Ken "of course" went straight back to the vacuum section and found this beauty! There is a horror story to her as well. So he buys her for $8 and brings her home for a surprise for me. We both agreed that she needed to be serviced before we took pictures. I would have done it myself, but the hours at work just wont allow it. So anyways, we also decided that we wanted to get a replacement bag for the unit so the nice pretty gold one wouldn't get ruined. We take her to the store and tell the repair guy what we wanted and he said ok, it will be ready in a few days. So a few days go by and we call and they say that they still haven't got the new bag yet, So we decide that we want to go get the vacuum and just leave it the way it is, well here is the scary part. We get to the store and say we are ready to pick up our vacuum and just want to forget about the replacement. The repairman say, and I quote,"I don't know what good the vacuum would be without a bag." My eyes got huge. I said,"what!?" He turns to me with the most serious face," yah! I threw that bag in the trash!" I knew my face got red. I said why in the hell did you do that! We asked for a replacement and we want the old bag back! He told us that he was informed by the guy we had talked to that we only wanted a new bag, and didn't want the old one. I said no, I want the old bag. So in the end the guy had to go out in the dumpster and get the old one out. I will say that will be the last time I deal with that salesman. So here are the pictures!
