Original emptor for Kirby G4

I got a really good Kirby G4 from Goodwill for $8 but while the emptor looks to be in good condition it leaks around the seam.

I was able to set it up with some silicone for now but I was wondering if anybody had a spare one to sell.

I know the new style works better for my G4 I love the original color (my favorite Kirby next to the heritage and Avalir) and design of the emptor.

I will admit the silicone job wasn't done too well haha

Check eBay...

These are readily available on eBay, both new and used. A couple of years ago, I refurbished a G4 with some black Gsix parts, and the difference between those and the G4's charcoal plastics is hardly noticeable. The most cost effective solution for the parts I needed was to buy a somewhat beaten down Gsix at Goodwill for $20. It was much cheaper than buying the parts a la carte.

Of course, seeing the remains of the Gsix, sitting disassembled in my barn, eventually became more than I could take, so I put it together with whatever spare parts I had on hand, regardless of color. The one thing I ended up buying for it was a used outer bag, ironically the best deal I found was one for a G4. Despite a lack of yellow flecks, it looked no more out of place on the Gsix than the black Gsix parts do on the G4.
