Does anyone have one of these? This is the vacuum that was in my house until probably age 10 then we got a Dyson DC17. It is similar to the Tempo widepath in design, minus the widepath feature. No full bag indicator, s/p, etc. If anyone has one, pictures would be sweet! Thanks in advance.

I had one in between the years 98ish- 2007 from Costco I think. Broke down in 07 and got a new Hoover. Lasted about 10 years! Now that is what I call a Hoover!! :P And it actually DID have a check-bag indicator but it wasn't on the bag door, it was on the Embedded Dirtfinder lights. There was not 2 but 3 lights! Red, Green, and Yellow. The 3rd one would turn on (yellow) when the bag was full. I remember it said on the bag door, "Hoover WindTunnel Deluxe by Hoover" and yes it was burgandy . And it also had that red square-like switch on the handle to turn it on, now they are more circular and gray. It was one of the very first WindTunnels around! Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of it.. :( But the link below has a pic of how it looked like.

Hi Darren

I think I have one , will I know I have one but I don't know if its the one you are looking for ,
I will post pictures tomorrow, when I get a chance, mine is new never used but missing its tools

This particular model stated on the front panel: Windtunnel by Hoover. It had nothing else on it, just a headlight and a switch not on the handle, but at the base of the handle where it joined the machine. It was black, a simple two position rocker switch.

ah the one I have has the switch on the handle, but otherwise is bare bonesjust a headligt, not even the dust indicater of later models. I got it from a mate who owns a furniture store, it stood in the back of the shop after it went off the market but was never used, I cleaned it up and took some pics for you but my blue tooth connection won't work tonight( go figure)
Up until tonight it had never been switched on , it has however got some scuff marks from standing around and getting bashed by other machines

cheers
Gareth

Just like ours, but the three tools were on the back, and the hose was a simple extremely short blow molded non stretch. The switch was also on the top of the bag compartment corner.

This was an odd one, the normal ones I see also have the blow moulded hose.

This thing sucks like crazy though, I love vacuums withlights , my two sons love to vacuum thier room in the dark so they can search with the light for hidden lego, I had to get a bissel with a headlight for them as our dyson doesn't have one
