Oreck XL21 Legend

For your viewing pleasure. I found this on Craigslist, alas too far away to buy.
Never saw one before or had even heard of this variation..would someone please fill me in on the specifics of this model compared to the regular XL21, i'm guessing cosmetic only..

Those where available in stores

When I worked for oreck quite a few years ago ( 4 or 5 years) we sold these in the store. This model has the same inner workings as the XL21 just a different handle grip. I believe these were sold at a lower price point with a shorter warranty period. I seem to recall having these after the XL21 was replaced by the platinum but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, there WERE available in stores.

I have a friend who bought one. It was NOT only a QVC item. Of course, not my cup of tea, but.......
I have 3 Orecks to unload here.

Robert Oreck dealers complained

That's how they got into stores in the very beginning they were QVC exclusive I was an ORECK store manager I am proud to say I know more than some "OTHERS" with ZERO knowledge about Oreck plus I know how to repair EVERY brand ever made .

That is MY cup of Coffee ...

Who ever complained about QVC vacuums got them but after QVC had them for a specific period of time .

You are correct Robert I would know more about many brands of vacuums all one has to do is look at my extensive collection thread and know I managed an Oreck store , Aerus store repaired Kirbys at my KIRBY store and OWNED my own vacuum store so I am honored when you ask me vacuum questions as more than likely I will know the answer .
