So, with TTI's purchase of Oreck, we are beginning to see less and less of the original design. The new Orecks look nothing like the older ones, where in the past new models looked fairly similar to their predecessor. So, if you want to get one of the original Orecks before they're gone, this may be your last chance.

With any luck TTI may extend the design and put sound insulation in. God knows the machines need them.

The loud, obnoxious howl of an Oreck is one of the main reasons I will never own another one!!!!

Sure, it's just a glorified stick vac, but at that price point they could at least find a way to soften the motor noise...
