While digging through old newspaper ads and information on an Oreck XL 9200 I have, I found out that a lot of the ads of the period (1997 was the first time it was referred to as the 9200 by the way) are referring it as the "Hotel Upright".
I am confused as to whether this was just advertising nomenclature or was it officially the name of the vacuum?
The Oreck XL 9200 I have has "Celoc Hypo-Allergenic Filter System" printed across the banner sash.
I don't have a Newspapers.com account so I cannot view the ad in full and up close, but the model in the ad does have a headlight.
The last photo is another ad I found from 1 year later, in 1998.
