SO i found this at a local Arc thrift store. It's way too short for me (being about 6'4") it comes just a little over my waistline, but i figured i'd pick it up in case someone else wanted it.

I have not done much with it, it needs a good thorough cleaning as it kind of has a sour smell to it. When put upright you can hear a strange noise like the fan is rubbing against the case when it's in the upright position i'm not sure why it does that. I'm also not sure if i have a box that fits it quite yet, as it has not been dissasembled yet, but getting my hands on one would only take a day, if necessary.

So in terms of price I'd just like reclaim what I've spent on it which is about $26 after tax so $26+shipping

This isn't my exact zip code but it's close to where I live: 08756. Do you accept pay pal if I were to buy it?

If I didn't already have that model, I would scoop it up for that price, more than fair to me. It's rare to find one with the original plaid bag, mine has it as well. I worked part time in an Oreck store for several years, and I was lucky enough to take one in on trade. That noise at the end doesn't sound serious compared to a similar noise only louder on a recent Hoover Air steerable, which I only kept for a month. If they're not abused, Orecks can outlast some other brands which come to mind, depends on the user and maintenance given to the machine.
