Does anyone know what year this is? I was told 1960's.

1960s,

You're likely about right, could even be 1970s. Oreck bought the design off Whirlpool around the early-to-mid 1960s.


Around the late 80s the design began to square out to a more "Boxer" shape, with Headlamps!

I would say early 1970s. We had a neighbor in 1972-73 that had this exact model, except the base was a light blue color. Everything else was exactly the same as this tho.
