Oreck & Regina shampooer/cartradges.

I love these carpet washers. But, why are the cartradges sooo expensive? there is one on e-bay going for $45.00 for 1! And if anyone knows and has a regina washer PLEASE post pics. What year did these come out? I designed one that you hook up to a sink and it pre-rinses,suds'o'scrub*,extracts,rinses and extracts in one pass. I call it the VACO wash-a-matic. Once i figure out how to edit pics, I will show it to you. it looks similar to an oreck.
