Oreck Halo

Hey guys,I was hoping you could fill me in with some information about the oreck halo i own,Such as year made,
When they stop/started,reviews,That king of stuff...

Any information is greatly appreciated,

I got a Halo UV-ST from the original Halo company in 2009 and by that time Oreck had already been selling it under there name for a few months. They had to discontinue them in 2011 after the FTC found the UV light did NOT kill the germs Oreck claimed it would. They were fined 750000 dollars. Before then Oreck also released a commerical Halo.

Wow, Oreck fined $750K. I never heard that story before. I guess David Oreck's products aren't as wonderful as he thinks they are!

Unluckily for him I've had allergy problems using 3 of his famous lightweight bagged uprights, so can't say I'm too eager to try another.
