Sorry to have post this here. It is the only place I can post this to as a non paying member.

Not to sound like a complainer or absolute authority on any thing. One thing I have noticed is we get a number of vague or open ended questions asked in the forms. Every one here has insight and accurate answers to questions about any product line you are seeking answers to.

Please be more descript in your questions and or give an example that relates to your question. IE did Manufacturer X offer an attachment or option like company y?
Or something like I seem to recall hearing.......... is that accurate?

Then the well versed members here can answer the questions accurately without asking more questions to answer a question.

All of us here enjoy talking about our equipment. The good the bad and the ugly and why we use the machine we do as our go to or daily driver.

Sincerely

A fellow vacuum enthusiast.

@John

I surely will ask questions as they come to mind. I have had a great deal of experience with the Hoover products of the late 60's thru late 90's both domestic and commercial products.

Will say they have some good products and innovations. The dial a matic was a good Idea. I will say I liked the above floor performance over the carpet cleaning performance especially when on plush type carpets. The convertibles were/are good at carpet cleaning but lacked in above floor performance with either converter. Slide in or front mount. They did get it right in the Windtunnel. I like that model. performs very well. Carpet or above floor. Their canisters are good products as well and usually had attachments that were well designed and functional. Unlike some of todays under sized or combination attachments.
