Is this the same Western Electric that made telephones for the Bell System back in the day?

I have a bigger #2 model, but it has bad commutator issues and arcs terribly when running.

Still a couple small things I need to fix, one of which I need to likely 3d print a head for it. Stuck a Eureka Junior head on for now.

Interestingly this uses the same GE type SDA motor as a Torrington B. Literally the exact same, even the steel plated casing(i.e. why its not as shiny as the rest).
