Hi everyone,

I’m on the lookout for a lightly used Electrolux AP100 or AP200—something that’s barely been used and in great or “mint” condition. I’d love to hear your thoughts on how rare it is to find one these days.

If you happen to have one, know someone selling, or spot one for sale, I’d really appreciate a heads-up!

Thanks so much for any tips or advice.

Thanks — I’ve checked eBay but haven’t seen any in near-mint condition yet. Do they show up from time to time in better shape, or is it mostly well-used examples that turn up?
You have to check eBay daily. Nice ones turn up but you might have to look every day for a year or three before the right one for you shows up. There is a Canadian eBay you can also browse too. I looked for over 15 years for a particular Canadian model Kenmore, the medium blue flavor of the big Elite canister, a color never sold in the US with a power nozzle never sold with the Elite in the US and found one late last year. It's a beauty too. More recently I found another Kenny I had heard of but had never even seen a photo of, a Eureka Ironsides sold as a "Kenmore Heavy Duty 3.9". It was a rumor until I saw a dark gray Eureka Vibragoomer power nozzle with Kenmore Heavy Duty branding on it. Seeing that raised the hair up on my neck! I bought it because I have this weird idea that if I buy the power nozzle or the hose sooner for something or later the vacuum will show up. Well maybe three months after buying the power nozzle a complete canister, hose, power nozzle with all the attachments attachments showed up on eBay. Swoop. Bought it immediately. It is perfect too. Nice as the day it was sold. Unbelievable. Persistence pays off but you have to be patient and check every day. I am still hunting for a Panasonic MC9440, the uber rare electronic controlled version of those old maroon and cream colored Panasonic Jet Flo 160 series canisters. I have the hose in my garage now ......................
