Olympia One Running Again

I just replaced the switch on my Olympia and it's running perfectly again. All it needs now is a hose. I'm using the from the Oly on the AE. I love these machines, best vacuums I've ever owned.

I think this spring I will repaint the the Oly, which leads me to my next question, would it be wrong to paint it a different color, what are your guys opinions on this?
