I was helping my roomate clean his church after an event and this was what I used. It did an awesome job. It has th Power Surge handle on it and I've always been curious as to what that does. Also, I don't think the bag isn't original and I'm pretty sure the cord is a replacement because it's white. Still though, it does an amazing job!!!

They still have them on Ebay Austin, called the Hoover Floormax. The power surge cranks up the speed until you let go of the slide switch. The bag & cord are a replacement & it is an excellent machine

What would the original bag have looked like? I think the grey one with red writing would look nice.

I'm wondering if the bag with dump cup is areplacement from a paper bag system. It's obviously not a commercial grade machine as the cord hook should on the front of the handle for that. And commercial units that I have seen only have an upper hook to hang the cord on.

It says it's commercial with the steel-lined fan chamber on it. Is it possible the handle is a replacement as well, from a residential model?

Umm...

it does only have an upper cord hook. I believe this is a commercial grade machine with a possible handle / cord replacement as said above. But the "grade" of the handle is the same as commercial.

Yea that probably true. Also, I tried the power surge function a while ago and it works amazingly!
