But not quite 1970's. This is a model 111, from around 1983. The hose on it is of a newer style than the 1st white hose Vax used. Also, the recovery bucket is solid black, rather than translucent.

I have exactly the same Vax, it was £5 from the Carboot.

Did Vax raid Electrolux's parts bin on this? I assumed the hose was not original, but apparently it is!

Who is going to be the first to enquire about the convertor for the flat tools and the lack of washing bits?

Vax used a third party to make the tools. Same company was already making none genuine spares. Why they used the Electrolux 3-peg hose end, I have no idea.
