This may seem like a stupid question, but I once had a vacuum box for a 1930s Hoover. Not having the vacuum for it, I resold it and I didn't get much for it. Now I am FINALLY almost finished cleaning out much my step-dad's house and the three generations of JUNK inside. I have previously found evidence they once had a Hamilton Beach, a Hoover Convertible, and an interesting vacuum from the late 80s/early 90s called an "EnviroVac" from Eureka. I found the attachments to the Hamiliton Beach sometime ago, and have come across NOS Hoover belts and bags in the bathroom closet and now the box and all the packing supplies for the Eureka. Sadly, no sign of the vacuums themselves, one of the few things they likely threw away (they threw those away but kept bills from the 1970s?!)

Anyway, is it worth my time to try and sell the Erureka box to a good home or should I simply throw it out?

I know

I am not sitting on a fortune, but just wondering if there's any market? I haven't cleaned the spider webs and dust from it yet.

Oh Yes!!!

I have several vacuums with the original boxes, If I find boxes at sales, which are often used for storage of other items , I always try to buy them.

I really like the cardboard attachment carriers old vacuums came with. I always thought those added to the value of the vacuum.

Thanks!

I thought that would be the case. The box is dated 1997 and has tags from Elder-Beerman. It is for an American made Eureka Envirovac. It still has some of the packing materials inside. The front cover had a nice woodland scene on it, I wish I could have found the vacuum itself! But alas, I have too much stuff, so I have listed it for sale in the "Super Market" forum.
