Oil or grease bushes?

What is best for bushes?Oil or Grease?

are you talking about the bearings/bushings on a brush roll?

Bushings, a.k.a. sleeve bearings should be oiled with a lightweight machine oil. Ball bearings get grease, but you shouldn't grease them anyway- always replace them if they're worn.
