I have 3-in-1 oil for my 1992 Royal Anniversary Edition and my Supreme Electro Hygiene model 903. I am of course not the original owner, and the Electro Hygiene is running dry. It really needs it! The question I have is, how much do I put in each one? I do know where the fill tubes are. The Electro Hygiene is missing the cap for the tube though. I'd like to oil them both, since I doubt that they have been any time recently. Thanks for the help! -Mitchell

I usually put the nozzle on the oil can/bottle in the fill tube and give it a squirt, there's a big felt wick that you want to make sure is good and soaked with fresh oil.

Mitchell,

The main thing is to make sure that you put enough oil in the tube until you can see the oil rising in the tube. If you think it may be completely dry you may want to let it settle a few minutes then add a little more. If you're using 3 in 1 oil, I hope it's the 3 in 1 Electric Motor Oil, not just regular 3 in 1. The Electric Motor Oil is blended especially for motors but the regular is a little too light.

The Supreme Electro Hygiene is sounding better.

I will look at it again this weekend. It is the electric motor oil. I did put a bit of oil in so I'll see how it sounds in a couple of days.
