someone told me they have a hoover model z. aparently it is really rare and has a cord winder on the front and is all blue. i was wondering if anyone had any pics cause it sounds interesting. any info would be greatly apreciated.

I'm Confused

What are you asking about, the Hoover Z or Convertible? Yes, Hoover manufactured some Convertibles with cord reels, and they are quite rare. Learn to search in the archives for questions like these. Create a Google search for what you are looking for, then add site:vacuumland.org to end of your keywords. I just typed in "hoover convertible cord reel site:vacuumland.org" and found an archive thread with a picture of exactly what you were looking for.

Then they are not talking about a Convertible. Upright Hoover model numbers begin with the letter U, and older examples are just straight numbers. The Hoover Z 700 from the mid-2000s is blue; could they be talking about that? It could very well be that they just don't know what they're talking about, and giving you missinformation. That has happened to be many times.

Possibly. Thanks for the info. They said it was a convertible and it is a fellow collector so I don't think they are mistaken. I don't think the hoover z exists. In the form of a convertible and very rare. I think the person that told me about it is a troll

They called the Hoover Z "convertible" in the way that it converts into a compact machine.

It has a cord winder I believe.
