That's me!

I always said I wouldn't sell it, but in the last year or so I've been pruning down my collection - a lot of items were kept in storage for years, but a) it's expensive, b) some of my items ended up getting damaged, and c) it's too easy to bung stuff in storage and then just leave it sat there!

I hope it does go to a good home - the motor issues mean no-one would be likely to buy it as an everyday machine, and there's only one collector I wouldn't want it to go to (not from here, I hasten to add!), but I blocked them months ago after receiving the abuse they'd subjected other collectors to!

Other collector.

This other individual wouldn't live near to Seamus, have the initial C and appear with ridiculous tat on ebay would he Si??

Not that bugger! lol

(all British thread so far, c`mon lads, getcha accent on lol

... to save confusion its probabley best to speak English rather then "British British" lol

That's the one!

The only time I dealt with that particular un-named Ebayer, he made a huge fuss over me not sending the item the next day - and when I pointed out that I was within Ebay rules he started moaning about the packaging. I very politely offered him a full refund if he returned the item, but he didn't take me up, and I left him ranting about feedback :-D

By the way Charlie, I daren't type in my accent, I'm from Aberdeen and even after 20 years in England I have to repeat myself to folk still!

Luckily, there was a picture on the posted link....

Since I can't understand ONE WORD that you people are saying - here's what I'm guessing this thread is about just from the picture.......

Up for auction - very nice Hoover lavender vacuum cleaner. Shipping will be expensive as this item weighs ninety-nine pounds. Works, but clashes with my carpet. Also, plug on the cord doesn't fit any electrical outlets. Black jacket on chair not included.

How's that?

Rick

I have one already!

I would love to give this old girl a good home, but I already have one. Mine is not as good, but I cannot justify this one, being a dad, and having Christmas to think about.

i sincerely hope the price justifies the machine si, one of the rarest UK machines.

I was lucky beyond lucky with mine. Although she is a little yellowed and careworn, and has a small tear in the bag, she was found nestling in a corner of a flea market in Chesterfield about 6 years ago. A charity stall it was, and they were asking £2 for her. I am glad my keen eye for all things hoover didn't let me down on that day.

Happy hoovering guys.

Clark.
