NZ's GE Swivel Top

Hi Everyone

Today I'm the proud owner of NZ's version of the GE swiveltop

This one is a 1981 model which followed on from burnt orange and was superseded by brown until GE sold out to Black & Decker in 1986 and the long running Swivel Top dissapeared.

One careful lady farmer owner since new and the only one ive seen in 30 years in immaculate condition. It's just missing the dusting brush

For some reason and i'm not sure why but i have a fondness with these machines

It’s interesting seeing what GE did in different countries. Here in the US they changed to Premier around 1972 and were discontinued in about 1981-82.

I believe in South America the Swiveltop continued into the 1990s under Black and Decker.
