Numatic George wiring help

Hi everyone,

I've acquired a Numatic George, which the previous, apparently clueless, owner pulled to pieces to try and repair. It's in fair condition and came with all the wet and dry accessories.

I have a new motor for it as he'd damaged the old one, and I have a bag of loose wires. I may be able to work it out from the switches and bends in the wires, but does anyone have any photos of the wiring arrangement in these machines, or possibly a wiring diagram?

Wires

Two lines off a motor and pump are positive and negative. Positive is black negative/neutral white.
Black, red blue are usually power or positive. If you have for example two blue wires. One will have a white line down the wire. The one with the white line would be neutral and the other would be the power.

In Europe we use brown for live and blue for neutral.

I think the wires that go to from the switch to the motor are usually white on Numatics

Positive and negative are terms for direct current (DC). George runs on alternating current (AC). So it doesn't really matter if you connect a brown cable to blue one as long as you don't create a short circuit and follow the schematic you should be fine.

It's all sorted and working perfectly. I have some electrical experience, so some things were obvious, but I had a neutral wire and a live (which contained diodes) to connect the switch to the pump, but there were no polarity markings on the pump. Fortunately I found a picture of the pump online and took a chance.

Thanks for the lesson I already knew. Power is positive ions. Etc.
It doesn't matter ac dc ions which is the base of electricity doesn't change.
Interesting cord colors for the wiring.
