I'm not a collector, but I happened upon this ad on the Akron Ohio Craigslist, and thought that a collector should own this machine.

Gold, Hoover 65 convertible that looks to be in pretty nice shape.

Very cool! Don't know if they ever made them in that color officially, or if someone went wild on it with some gold Krylon. It looks good though.

EDIT: I guess they did make them in this color! It's a Hoover dealership prize for whoever sold the most pink Model 65's specifically in he pink color.

It’s not krylon paint, or made in a garage, that is the 50th ani gold model 65, super rare and super hard to find! Would have original came with like a cream color wide top 65 bag.
