NOS Royal Prince

I can smell the cord material of the 90's from this pic and love it! something about the smell of a NOS 90's machine that takes me back to when I was a wee young person. Gorgeous!

Is it really NOS??

I would highly suspect the fact that it is truly NOS. If it was never used why is there a fair amount of wear to the vinyl (or whatever material) logo on the cloth bag and it also appears to have a black mark on the brush roll where the belt wore onto it. That doesn't happen with just a couple minutes use. Even so, it is obviously very clean and this model is a lot rarer than the 501 Prince but not as collectible. I wish I could find a NOS Royal 4700 or 4750 canister in the box. That would be my dream vacuum. I bought and sold (at a nice profit margin) a NOS 4600 built in 1993 a few years ago but it had the Filter Queen power nozzle, I much prefer the Panasonic design. I have a 4700 in excellent shape but NOS would really be neat to find!

I mean,

This is the guy who thinks his scratched up wireless vacuette is worth 1200 bones. This is not NOS because:

-There is wear on the metal.
-There are an unusual amount of wrinkles and cracks on the silk screening of the bag.
-There is a wear mark on the brush bar where the belt has worn into the paint.
-The bristles on the brush bar are frayed.
-The bags have been opened.
-The other items are all over the place, there is no packing material in the box.

While it is in great shape, it is NOT new-old-stock and should not be labeled and priced as such. Would not buy.

Wow

Do any of you never posted before trolls even have vacuums.
His vacuette is worth $1200 why??? Because the about the rarest most desirable machine ever made. I'm guessing all your vacuums combined aren't worth as much as the vacuette.
He has the most extensive kirby collection of anybody other than me brown in england.
Learn some manners and not jump on here and just ridicule or cut people down. I'm not fond of bullies. I suggest you stop and that's all I have to say.

You just posted that it was overpriced and not sought after in Post# 439517. Then 2 days later you comment about not ridiculing or cutting people down against people that have very factual and valid points about a "NOS" vacuum that actually has been used. Hmm...

very overpriced

@Les. We don't agree that that Vacuette is worth $1200
-so what if he has an extensive Kirby collection or next to YOUR Kirby collection. What bearing does that have?
-what does " other than me brown in England" mean?
- I re read the comments, nobody ridiculed him or put him down. They gave credible obeservations of his handheld vacuum NOT being NOS. thats all.

its good to be sensitive about attacking people unnecessarily , or defending them, but were your admonitions warranted?

Hey all.

I sold the Royal. The person who bought it is ecstatic and cannot wait to get it. You all can stop now. This is why I’ve been on here less and less. Everyone does nothing but judge. What happened to the good old days? When you could post on Vacuumland without worrying about being judged. It’s a real shame.

Oh and by the way.

It is NOS. The only reason it has the wear mark in the brushroll is because I tested it to make sure it ran. Used it once for a few minutes. I understand maybe I should’ve listed it as used like new. But my god. Do you all really gotta be dicks about it? I will never, ever post a listing here again. It’s no longer worth it.
