Hello to all.
I have enjoyed reading posts on this website and been a member for almost 2 years.
I remember someone posted last November or December about a green and white eureka dial a nap on eBay and they were wondering about the year of it because of the font where it reads 5.0 amps.
The machine I have here is from 1993 because the serial number starts with a 93. I bought this on eBay in January of 2007 and have only vacuumed with it once to try it out. I have an attachment to this model because my parents bought me the same vacuum new back in 1992 and I still have it. They bought it at Prangeway but I do know that Sears sold this model also. The only difference between this 1993 model and my 1992 model year is the newer one has the 5 amp motor verses the older one had a 4 amp .
I had to put a new motor in my first 1932 eureka because the brushes went out in early 2012. I then called the Eureka company and they sent me a new 5 amp motor so now both have the 5 amp in them. I also replaced the outer bag because the original red one had the zipper go out on it. I must say I miss the red bag on it. I also took pictures of my black Bravo that mom and dad bought me for Christmas of 1997. It works super and has had a ton of hours on it and motor has very loud bearings since about 2010 but when it completely dies, I will put a new motor in it also. My vacuums I take great care of but my two workhorses have tons of hours on them and both motors have had the right to die!
Enjoy the pics everyone!
Thanks for making it a great club

Thanks for sharing your Eurekas Aaron! Never saw these models before. They indeed must be some of the last classic Dial-a-Nap Eureka uprights with the F&G bags.

By 1995, you could only get a commercial Eureka or Sanitaire, or one black classic Boss, with that classic "bag in the back" design.

Thanks Eurekaprince for your reply, yes I do believe that these models were a bit rare. Would you or anybody else remember that there was a nos eureka F&G upright on eBay back in June that sold for about$ 280.00? It was all white with the vinyle bag on back and had red trim on the base. I was wondering if someone on this forum had been the buyer of that machine. I believe the particular vacuum was sold at Menards stores from probably about 1989 or 1990. Was just wondering.
Thanks
