I came across what I think is a NOS Electrolux motor. Can someone tell me if, in fact, it is genuine Electrolux and the vintage of the motor. Thanks!

Mounting flange

The mounting flange and rubber gasket from a defunct Silverado motor easily attached to this new motor. I'm going to see if it mounts properly into the machine later today! I'm mainly concerned about the fan side being long enough to make proper contact with the gasket on the bag chamber.

Looks to be genuine, the fan casings on the Discovery motor aren't this wide, they are only the diameter of the upper part of the motor to fit in the slimmer machine.

Flange on

This is how it looks with the mounting flange and gasket. The fans are the same diameter as the old motor. However, the motor itself is much shorter. I'm about to install it, so we'll see how it goes!

Fit Perfectly!

The motor fit perfectly. It has nice, characteristic Electrolux whir too with plenty of suction and airflow. I guess it's a newer motor circa the Marquis era?

Sounds about right, but they used the same motor with a different mounting ring in the plastic body machines for a while too.
