Hi all!
I have a collection of olden hoovers from days of yore. Included in them is one of five convertibles. It's a cute little yellow thing that I have enjoyed using ( I use them all!). Lately it has started to sound pretty sick. I don't know a thing about motors but it might need the doctor. When I turn it on, what used to be a deep hum has now taken on the timber of almost a high pitch whine, a lot like a car sounds right before it's gonna shift into another gear like revved up. Any thoughts about what could be causing this? I wonder if it's an easy fix? There is an A-1 Vacuum shop where I live and when I take it in I hope to sound a little like I know something. Any input is greatly appreciated!
