Does anyone know anything about this machine? I believe it's distributed by Kent.
I picked up a used one a while ago for cleaning up after tenants. I could hardly find any information about it outside of the marketing copy from the vacuum store websites. From the looks of it, it's sold primarily for environmental cleanup; lead and asbestos dust removal, etc.
To that end, the UZ934H hepa model is advertised as having all sorts of certifications for its hepa filtering. It's completely sealed and has a large surface area hepa filter. The vacuum itself is not that powerful; it clocks in at 66 CFM and 91" water lift. Not that impressive, but is this vacuum more touted for its filtering than its raw power? Oddly enough, there is a non-hepa filtered version of this machine. It makes me wonder why anyone would choose it over a more powerful vacuum if not for the certified hepa filtration.
There is no power port for a power nozzle, only straight suction attachments and a turbo head.
does any one know anything about this machine? Given it's environmental cleanup pedigree, I'm tempted to reserve it for picking up mouse and rat poops from hard to access attics and crawl spaces, and any known situation where there's lead or asbestos dust, like cleaning around ancient central heaters in some of the older houses.
What do you think?
