Hi everybody. So I finally got my hands on one of those NIB old stock 2004 Hoover Windtunnel Twin Chamber vacuums on ebay a couple days ago and got it today! I was excited until when I turned it on to see the tool suction, it was very low. Not sure the problem but it was never used before so I was wondering if there's a way to get the tool suction increase? Thank you!

There is a valve that closes off the suction to the nozzle when you stand the handle upright. After all these years it's probably sticking.

That handle spring looks super corroded and popped out of place. That seller needs to disclose that the vacuums were stored in poor conditions and have a lot of problems.

Good news, I got my new valve, put it back in place and it now has hose suction! It's not super strong but it's still good suction.

I got one of these, too, last year. It has the same issue. I tried to get a partial refund, and the seller refused and told me to send it back (I would've had to pay $65 for the return shipping), and he would send me a different one. I didn't do that, and I'm glad I didn't because it would appear that the other ones have the same issue.
