Next Up On the Block From Tarantula Arms - Like New Compact Rug Shampooer

This is an unusual item. Not sure who made it for Interstate Engineering but it is a rug shampooer to go along with a Compact vacuum of the era. Used maybe once.

Bissell.
They also made Oreck and Rainbow versions.In many ways the Compact pictured might have the best style and color.This would be great next to the 'glitter' attachment! T As 'loss' of this and others will be some collectors 'gain'.Very nice items!!

Yep - looks good next to it's sister machine - the C9 Compact with the glitter handle found brand new in the box. Keeping that one though. Tania sniffed this C9 out along with a few others. No one can sniff out great machines like Tania!

I'm pretty sure I saw one years ago at a vac shop in the blueish-green color. Wonder what kind of shampoo could be used, don't believe they extract?

They use Bissell foaming carpet shampoo. The machine actually works very well. The brush goes back and forth, like a Rug Doctor brush. They did have one in the Blue color to go along with the next model Compact.
