Help Support VacuumLand:

I'm glad you like it, Joe

It made sense to hand it to you, rather than spend $ on postage when we'd be right in your home. It really shows the work that went into it. I thought of Jay, when he did it. Tons of hours. But, the result is worth it.
On to Christmas. (newsletter, only) lolol.

Well, they have been

mailed. They are large and heavy. You all wanted a nice newsletter, and it's been done. I do have a few extra copies on hand, should we get any new members. We've gotten 4 new ones in the past 6 months! The 4 members will get theirs out as soon as they're added to the printed labels....prob Tues/Wed of next week. Morgan's is being emailed to him, as per his request.

Now, we're focusing our attention to the Christmas holiday edition.
After some discussion, it was quite obvious that we dedicate the Christmas "holiday" issue to our great friend and former Vice president, Michael Turner.
Please feel free, now, to share thoughts, reflections, storied, recipes, photos, ads. etc.

Look at your mailboxes!!

I must say,

they 'upgraded the paper', due to the 'excellent quality" (as told to me by Staples), of the artwork. That was done at no extra charge.
But, to 'reprint' or mail old copies, I found would be quite an expense, should anyone ever care to have old ones reproduced and sent. Would anyone really do that?Would anyone ever really care to endure that expense? As, I KNOW how much it would actually cost. But, because of my dealings with Staples in the past (all of my talent competitions, etc were done by them), I get a great discount. That's why the next newsletter should, must, will be printed BEFORE December 8, to ensure that rather impressive savings.....over $100.00.
Thanks.....................

idea for back issues

What about having the old issues scanned and saved digitally? They then could be downloaded by members, as pdf's perhaps....no cost...just some time though to scan them. I've seen this done in a car club and it turns out well. Granted, holding paper in hand can't be beat....mostly.

Hi Joe

Hi Joe thank you so much for the nice compliment on the newsletter. I put 30 hours worth of work into this newsletter. I really hope everyone in the club likes my design ethic. The logo has also been revamped by me to keep some of the old aspects of the original and make it pop more design wise. When we had it printed at Staples the girl at the desk was amazed at my work and said that they probably could not afford me ha ha ha. I know some may not like it and I understand we all have our opinions and want our members to keep in mind this is a new revamped newsletter and plan to use the older ones for inspiration and research. Thanks Again sincerely Sam

The newsletter was waiting for me

in my mailbox when I arrived home from my lunch break. Sam you are very creative! Very well done! I especially enjoyed the tributes to both Anne Tabor and John Ziegenhagen. Very thoughtful!
