Oh absolutely use them. Not exactly as "daily drivers", but some semi regular use is good for them.

The floor polisher really is a pretty ridiculous thing, isn't it! It would be nearly impossible to use it with the handle grip in the wrong direction. It =is= fun to see how it went together, though. I have two of them -- one polished aluminum and one black wrinkle-paint finish.

Extra goodies

Electrolux137, the floor polisher set-up sure does look cumbersome, doesn't it? Still, very innovative. Fun to find it with "the works" intact.

On that note, a little more digging around in the cottage produced what I think are the attachments for the E-H 80. There's also an old Filter Queen tucked in the shadows but I won't be able to dig that out until next season. It's still in semi-regular use too.

I'm going to start another thread for a different prehistoric beast that I excavated from a neighbour's cottage. She heard me spouting off about old vacuums and said that she had one up for grabs. I'm sure that you folks will know all about it too!

Ta-da!

Hi Andrew!

The dust brush, crevice tool, and upholstery nozzle with slider brush are all correct for your Electro-Hygiene, as is the suction adapter with the 3 tabs that I mentioned before. Not sure about the other 2 parts in your picture. The one on the right looks like some sort of cap but haven't seen anything like it and don't know what it's use would be. Hope the wands, floor brush, sprayer, and hand vac parts turn up for you eventually.
Jeff
