I’m happy to see you have an original Electrolux upright and the salesman’s carrying bag. Those are so uniquely engineered. I think they are worth collecting just for the engineering aspect.

Looks Great!

Congratulations on becoming a homeowner, and nice job setting up your vacuum room! You have a nice collection there, with a good variety of machines and well displayed. Excellent work!

Well the last of the machines made it into the house today. Nowhere near put away, but being days away from paying another months rent at the storage unit (which still had all of my tools, and the last of my furniture in it) I rushed everything to the house. Right now the place is a disheveled mess!
Pictures of the completed vac room are coming in the next week or so.
My internet and home phone were connected today as well, so anyone who had my old landline number (ended in 2788) please discard it and message me or email me to get the new one. I will not be publicly posting it.

Les,

Thank you, getting a little better every day! Foot is looking better every time they change the dressing, and my doctor is as thrilled with the progress as I am, and 2 wks. ago gave me the OK for limited walking in the house and going upstairs. Have been sleeping in my own bed ever since, instead of the futon in the living room, using the bathroom instead of the commode, and taking my own showers instead of having an aide for it. Thanks for asking, hope you are doing well too.
Jeff

I always wondered if that hurts the motors storing them like that, the grease and oil gets wicked off the motor parts by gravity?

It would be no different than standing up...a Dial-A-Matic has a horizontal motor. The coffee cans both had their old bearings replaced with sealed ones last fall.

John, no Montgomery wards here as of now but who knows what the future holds...
