Now why didn't I think of this before!!!!

Problem: Screened porch with difficult to clean painted cement floor

Solution: Use my Rainbow.

How to do it:
(1) put tablespoon of Spic & Span in Rainbow sprayer and fill with HOT water. Spray porch
(2) use 3 wand sections and fuller brush without the machine turned on. Go over lightly. No scrubbing required
(3) Connect to Rainbow with empty basin and suck up dirt and scub water.
Such easy clean up. The sprayer is a pint jar. I only use 2 fills for srub water and 2 fills for rinse water.
You only have to empty the basin ONCE at the end
When done just fill the spray jar 4 times with hot water and put the end of the wand in jar. It cleans the wands and hose.
Advantages: no more garden hose and scrub brush plus this is gentle and does not damage the paint.
I have tried the garden hose before and even tried a floor scrubber and it was too aggressive and damaged the paint.
The floor dried in just seconds.
Because you know how much water you are using you only have to empty the basin ONE time at the end. My porch is 12x12

Here is the set up for water and dirt pick-up. the floor brush is designed just right so that the horsehair brushes pick the water up in the rough surface and not damage the paint.

New Use for my Rainbow

Check out the finished product. The floor has never been this clean and it was cold out today. The sprayer was very useful in dislodging the dirt alone the edges without using a lot of water close to the wood frame.
Why didn't I think of this before. It took less than 30 minutes from start to finish.
I found my Rainbow was very good when I used it after using a steam carpet cleaner. It removed a lot more water left in the carpet.

Inspored brilliance, Rob! Ypu should write to Rainbow about that.
Same idea as using a Hoover floorwasher on the kitchen and tiled floors but you wouldn't want to use them on smoothed concrete - too much wear & tear.
Golly, anyone with a painted deck, porch, basement or garage floor should try this. The Rainbow and it's high suction is ideal.

What a great idea. I could wash the car in the garage-lol.
I do use the Rainbow to clean the garage floor because I don't have to worry about a paper bag breaking or "sealing up" from the fine dust.
It's also good to use on the car interior. I don't have to worry about picking up any dampness or moisture that might occur during the winter months.
