Hi All,
I've been using my old Dyson DC17's turbo brush with my Hide a Hose central vac system to clean the insane amount of dog hair from my furniture (see borrowed pic from Ebay below). Well, the brush is about 7 years old and sounds like it's about to fall apart. Can anyone recommend a newer turbo brush that would fit on a standard central vac hose? I have a Dyson DC41 but the turbo brush that came with that machine is pure garbage in comparison to the brush from the DC17. Thanks for any words of wisdom!

Excellent question. I may end up doing so but before buying I wanted to see if there was something better out there that I had been missing. That and I tend to avoid Ebay purchases whenever possible. I've seen the Rugrat but that looks a bit too bulky. I guess the best solution would be to keep my dog from getting up on the furniture but it's a losing battle.

Cheers Mike :)
I do genuinely think they are great tools, they speed up etc.
It would be nice, yes for a motorised mini Power head. I guess the only thing similar you can get to that would be those Electrolux Workzones with the performance of uprights and clean as well as if not better than DC04's, DD Handy's or those new Hoover Jovis' handhelds with the miini or you can get the corded version which I find quite fascinating
