NEW THREAD FROM HOPESTER

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

Hi Hopester - I'm happy for you that you're getting good responses. Providence has a way of caring for us. I've been in your position and overwhelmed with vacuum parts having to dispense with them to move on. Just know you'll get through this and with money too. ;-D
As a reminder, please let me know when you unearth the old-style Hoover bags we've discussed in our emails. Thanks

Is there anyway I could get you to forward me some until I get back on my feet? Canisters? You could save my apartment!

Vortech Force there?

hi Hope,
a tremendous pile that you have there, wow!
Do you happen to have a Vortech Force there, preferrably 230 V Euro version?
I know this is next to nothing, but why not ask?

Thanks in advance.
Joe, Germany.

Hi Hope,

I have been reading your entries on this thread and the previous thread with interest and sincere empathy for what you are going through.

If I had the money, I would charter a large bus coach and gradually assemble a whole happy bunch of Vacuumland vac fanatics as we made our way down to California with our chequebooks! Then we could load up the bus with whatever cherished treasures you wanted to sell to hungry collectors....

I want that Eureka Empress!!!! But alas, I can barely afford my rent in overpriced Toronto.

I wish you well as you go through this difficult time, my friend. :-)

From Hopester

Free for the taking. It would be nice if anyone could come hear and pick up as much of this stuff as they could. Making a few dollers off of this stuff, for me is not working as well as I thought. Trying to keep up with the threads, 30 replys and counting, as well as the 60 plus emails (Thank You Every One) has me a little crazy. If I have not posted or emailed you back yet, I will. I HAVE TILL SEP. 11th TO HAVE ALL OF IT GONE. SO IF FREE IS THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT, THAN SO BE IT. A little food and shampoo would be nice, and cream rince for my hair. I have no had any for a year now. This sucks so bad, To think of how much money I payed out for all this stuff, and it all might wind up in the trash. I'm sad now, need to go. Please call me if you like to stop by for some free stuff. Peace Out everyone for now. Don't forget the stuff on thread (LOT Vintage Vacuums)

Hopester,
I am so sorry, but I will not be able to buy that Kirby G5. Since my little health problem last summer I have not been able to work... and now the damn water pump and hoses in my elderly car have to be replaced and it's going to take me two weeks to save up that much money.
I hope that someone will be able to buy up your vacuums and give you SOMETHING to live on. I really wish I could do something for you.
Again, I am so sorry.

IT never fails! WHen an opertunity comes up like this for me its either too far, or I don't have any money! Looks like both this time! ARRRRR!!

I will call you

FALLEN - I have no ground to stand on, no place to call my own. No power in the hand or strengh of will. "I'm limbo." Stuck between lost and found-Not living life-Not yet dead- Sad to find myself so lost in these middle years-I hope an end comes soon, for the light in witch to see by is becoming dimmer and dimmer every day....I can fix many things-Seems, I'm at a loss at fixing this. This life has always been a fight- "For What?" All I have ever wished for in this life of mine,is a place to call home-A home to grow old,and call my own... Nothing more-Nothing less-A million roads in this world-What do you think the chances are that the one I pick or travel upon is the one that takes me home...
