Combining the features of the best Roombas, Neato's shape and brush placement, and even a nod or two to Vorwerk's Kobold robots, the new Roomba S9 looks like it's their best yet. They (thankfully) let go of their iconic round shape, in favor of a setup with a wider cleaning width, and far better edge and corner cleaning capabilities. Their already finally good navigation also looks more refined than the 900 series models. All these improvements don't come cheap though, and this robot vacuum in the S9+ configuration (featuring the bagged self-emptying base) retails at a whopping $1299!
