I had the chance to try out the new Powr-Flyte Borelli. yesterday. It seems to be a very nice and solid machine, and really aggressive on carpet. I am curious as to why they built a dual motor upright with no way to turn the brush roll on and off. I have a feeling we're going to see a new Riccar Vibrance very soon based on this machine.

Cool

I've seen those before I'm curious as to why they made that choice. I have a dual motor clarke 212 which also had just a single on/off switch. It's very odd that they either won't use a 3 position switch or a 2nd switch allowing you to shut the brush off.

I doubt we will see a Vibrance with a dual motor setup as the R25 line replaced them. There has also been similar machines from Tacony in the past like the Nobles/Tennant V-DMU-14. I had one briefly I had bought used from ebay but the main motor sounded bad and the machine was filthy despite it saying it was refurbished so it got sent back

RE: Blackheart

Thanks for sharing the image. I do see the similarities between the two machines.
I know someone who spoke to a Tacony rep. who said there was a new upright coming soon; probably next year. I assumed the version of the Borelli was probably it, but I could be wrong. I guess we'll find out soon enough. BTW I do follow your postings; especially the air flow tests. Keep up the good work!
