I have a bagged Oreck, and I've been pretty happy with it, specifically the Graphite. This just looks like they're trying to appeal to unedcuated consumers who think bagless is better.
it does have the brushroll off safety feature just like the Magnesium does.
It is made in China but if sales go well they could build it here in the USA.
What I find utterly ridiculous with the design of this cleaner is the two loops on either side of the cleaning head. What is the purpose of those? If they didn't exist, the cleaning head would go under even more furniture. At least that's how it looks.
Hello Dan. If the sides are 3" and the front is 1.5", then I can only be right that the sides are higher than the front. Now, I realise that 3" is still an incredibly low size, but what I am meaning is that from the pictures those plastic loops on the side don't seem to do anything. So without them the cleaning head would be lower still.
It is still one of the lowest heads on a vacuum . Try to get a Dyson head or a Kirby head under a low object . They are part of the design and the head would look stupid with out them . It has won awards over its design so they are doing something right .
Oh we say that over here too. It is very true. I do like the comment that the cleaner would look stupid without the side loops. Every bagless cleaner looks hideous to me as it's so different from what I am used to.
